First, let me say that I usually try to avoid trends – you know, like cliches – I avoid them like the plague.

Second, this article is seven months old, so certainly the trends are no longer trendy.

But third, I think it makes some good points about what is fresh and effective, visually.

Let’s let up on gender stereotypes – they’re easy, but not fair to anyone. And yes, doing good is good. And yes, we all love natural beauty. I think these thoughts are much more long-lasting than trends. What do you think?
